Suki and Hotaru
Suki's eyes hardened. What an absolutely horrible person. She forced herself to avoid the man that lay twitching on the ground, forced herself to ignore what pain he must be in. Instead, she turned her fury on her attackers. He had been their comrade! They shouldn't be fighting for his murderer! She called more water from the air around her, eyes cold and violent.
Suki swept back her arm calling about half of the water with it. As she shot her arm forward, she stepped forward as well, sending the water directly at the first attacker's face. As soon as it touched the man, it froze solid. Suki pulled back her other arm clenching her fingers together and sending a spray of water shooting up from under the other man's feet. It froze immediately, binding his feet to the floor.
Hotaru directed her attempts at the man with the dagger. She called heat to the air around the man, feeling her sister aid her efforst by sucking all water from it. She smiled and continued pouring heat into the man's surroundings. Waves of mirage actually began to emanate off of him, and she could feel him sweating away all of his strength. Soon enough, she guessed, he'd be too exhausted to even fight. Still, better safe than sorry. She drew her own dagger from her belt and readied herself in case he turned out to be stronger than she'd thought.
Suddenly, she turned away. There was something wrong. Suki... Suki wasn't right. Her eyes had been too cold, too focused, too intense. What if... No. Suki was the controlled one. But still...
Oh, gods. "Suki!" Hotaru shrieked. Her sister looked up, alarmed. "The first man! His face!"
Suki looked. Oh no... No no no. The man was on the ground, clutching his frozen face in agony. It was obvious that the ice had frozen all the way around. He couldn't breathe. Suki unclenched a fist and the ice turned to water. The man collapsed in a faint.
"At least two minutes..." Suki murmered under her breath, "Another minute and he'd have been gone..."
The dagger man had turned out to be stronger than Hotaru thought. He lunged forward, pushing his dagger into her arm. He was weak and lightheaded, though, and his aim was off. He merely scratched her arm while she wasn't looking. Hotaru swore under her breath and returned to fighting with the man. She threw up a high kick, sending a gout of flame with it. She hated to burn people, but hey, he'd started it. Hopefully that fire wouldn't blind him...

Nelos was sidestepping Glacius, playfully flicking the Viper Blade near the ice atronoch... much like a cat would do with his food. The ice atronoch could barely dodge... His body wasn't made for this... He wasn't a nimble acrobat like Hotaru and Suki, and he couldn't get on the offensive. Nelos wouldn't let him... Every now and then, the dunmer bandit leader would knick Glacius' arms or legs with the evil longsword. The deadric priest in disguise could just grit his teeth in pain. The acid didn't disintegrate, but it could cut through his flesh, and the acidic poison DID burn. Alas, Glacius couldn't let it bother him. If he did, the evil mortal would get the advantage... Blast this form! It was clumsy and much weaker... When the frost atronoch had been thinking this though, Nelos grinned. That same sadistic grin. He had fallen for it Glacius realized... He let himself get positioned with his back against the mushroom fungi. Nelos lunged before the ice atronoch could retaliate. The blade simmered.... It was almost completely embedded in Glacius' torso. With a horizontal slash, the amulet flew in the air, the enchanted necklace landing several yards away in the grassy ground. Nelos backed up to see his handiwork with a pleased smirk. Glacius had a look of shock on his face, huge hand clumsily grasping the mushroom sapling for support, other hand grasping the wound, water pouring out of the hole like a hose. Eventually, the priest collapsed with a dull thud on the ground, white eyes staring blankly at the sky, mouth agape with frozen surprise... Nelos grinned at the bandits. They had stopped their unsuccessful assaults on the twins... Everyone had stunned looks on their faces. Nelos grinned savagely. "Your next..." he murmered, pointing his blade at the twins.

Suki and Hotaru
Suki gritted her teeth. She could almost feel the power leaking out of Glacius. What strength... Her hands were clenched tightly, and she suddenly let them go as she realized a stinging pain was throbbing where her nails had been cutting her flesh. The tiny half-moons of blood captured her attention. All that power, rushing from Glacius... Sparkles in the air. Suki felt faint.
Hotaru, however, was blazing angry. Whatever Glacius was, and no matter how much she disliked him, he should not have to die. This man - or whatever Nelos was - was sick and wrong. Hotaru held her arms by her side, palms up. Flames shot from her hands and she hissed, "Just try me."

Nelos grinned, as the other bandits slowly backed up. "Gladly." the dunmer murmered. Then... it got cold.... It almost dropped 50 degrees, the air was moist... An eerie wind stirred the scraggly grasses. The other bandits stopped what they were doing and stared at eachother in confusion. It never got that cold in Morrowind... was this the twins' doing? The bandits were slowly backing up... Then Nelos turned around.... Near the mushroom sapling, Glacius was standing up... he was breathing heavily... But he was STILL standing... Water was still pouring from the wound.... But then the burbling gush turned a bright white as it froze over across the imperial's chest.
Nelos just shook his head slowly. "You should be dead..."
The other bandits ran... They didn't like what was about to happen... And they were out of sight within seconds...
The priest then started throwing up water... lots of it... It covered and soaked his body.... The freezing aura seemed to slowly add layer upon later, until with an explosion of elemental light and a blinding glow, the twins and Nelos were thrown back from the force.
The bandit leader lifted an ashy black hand to cover his eyes from the blinding, white glow... But the dunmer's red eyes widened... The landscape around Glacius was frosted over, plantlife perfectly perserved in souless ice, including the mushroom sapling. Snowy ice covered a wide circle around the huge figure where Glacius used to be... But what surprised and horrified the bandit leader more was what that figure was... About a towering seven feet tall, with stocky, enormous shoulders, hands, and limbs seemingly composed off nothing but elemental ice that would never melt from normal fire, was an ice atronoch... What was once Glacius. Glowing, icy, white spheres surveyed the awestruck group, and a craggy frown was on the ice atronoch's impassive face.

Suki and Hotaru
Hotaru watched with horror and fascination. The power rushing through and over her was alien, strange, and painful. Suddenly, she began to shiver. She, shiver? How could that be possible? She was never cold. She could combat any cool with her own power. And yet, she could find nothing in the air around her. Frightened, she tried to call a flame to her hand. Nothing happened. Gasping for air, she fell to the ground. Everything was cold... So cold...
Suki, however, was exhilarated. The power rushed through her like a cold mountain stream running through her fingers. Only it was better. This power was cold, and clear, and clean. She felt filled with it. Nothing could stop her when she was so powerful. Who was Glacius, really? A god? A spirit? Something else?
Suddenly, Suki realized that she was laughing, breathing deeply in between barking laughs and smiling like a loon. It was beautiful! Amazing! Nothing could be this good!

Nelos' red eyes flashed with fear... "deadra...." he whispered under his breathe. Glacius turned to face the bandit leader with cold eyes. [glow=white,2,300]"That WOULD have killed me...." [/glow]the voice was strange, it had a booming echo to it, almost like an avalanche. [glow=white,2,300]"If that amulet wasn't knocked from my neck, I would have been sent straight to Oblivion. Unfortunately for you, evil elven mortal, my sealed deadric essence saved me at the last minute. Now, you stand no chance in my full power. Leave... Before I crush in my master's name, and send YOU to Oblivion, where Sithis shall devour your mortal soul..." [/glow] Nelos started shaking as he got up. It was overwhelming terror that overcame him. It took over rational thought, and ended up being the death of him. Raising his enchanted blade, he charged clumsily at the ice atronoch, yelling a bloodcurdling screech of rage and fear, almost like a trapped animal. As he got close to Glacius, and tried to swing the longsword, a huge, blocky hand grasped the Viperfang with a vicious halt. What happened next, seemed to happen in slow motion. Grasping Nelos by the head with the other huge, icy hand, the bandit leader screamed as a huge, light blue glow consumed the bandit... As it cleared... It showed the outlaw, flash frozen in a prison of ice, mouth agape in a silent scream, and eyes shut in agony. With a clang, the Viper Blade landed on the icy ground around the ice atronoch... He was finally dead. The vicious and bloodthirsty man was finally felled by an unlikely source of help. The mood was instantly spoiled when the huge deadra turned around sharply, yelling in a deep, throaty voice, [glow=white,2,300]"SUKI! Hotaru!"[/glow]

Hotaru and Suki
Hotaru had flinched with each gout of power, almost yelping with pain when Glacius froze Nelos. Shivering, she lay curling in a ball on the ground. She'd never been cold... Never. Was this what cold was like? Was this what life was like before you died? She had no idea. She just wanted a release, a release from the bone-aching frigid surroundings.
Glacius's shout interrupted her spiral of doom-filled thoughts. She raised her head slightly, eyes flashing with momentary strength. "Could you keep it down? I'm busy dying."
Suki rolled her eyes. Same old Hotaru. Except... "What happened to you?
"Frosty over there has frozen my magic. Basically, I think I must be dying. Is this what it's like to be cold? It's okking horrid!"
Suki sighed. "Oh, get up, Hothead. There's more important things to attend to. Yes, Glacius?"
"I'm not getting up for that chunk of ice. I'm staying right here on the ground and dying peacefully."
"You are such a pain."

[glow=white,2,300]"Oh... I thought your sister was hurt... I was trying to get your attention..." [/glow]Glacius murmered more to himself then the girls. The ice atronoch rose a massive glacier-like leg as he treaded through the frozen grass, almost as if he were looking for something... [glow=white,2,300]"Suki, move your sister several yards further away from me... If she is indeed a being of fire, my aura would be choking her. When that is done... Please help me find my amulet." [/glow]Glacius sighed... [glow=white,2,300]"I assume you both will have questions after this... I'll answer them if you promise to be discreet."[/glow]

Hotaru and Suki
Suki walked over to Hotaru, grabbing her by the hand and hauling her up as best as she could. Like the pathetic last arrival in a three-legged race, they stumbled their way to the other end of the clearing. Finally, Hotaru stopped looking so ghostly white. Underneath a small fungus-tree she sat, blowing fire into her hands and glaring at Suki and Glacius in turn.
Suki walked her way over to Glacius and said, "Your amulet? Umm, okay. I'll help you find it. Hothead-"
"Hotaru!" Hotaru shouted from the other side of the clearing. Suki pretended not to hear her.
"She probably should stay over there. She isn't looking too good."
"I'm fine! I could take you both any time! Just try and stop me from helping!" Hotaru made a feeble attempt at getting up, then sat back down and resumed the glaring-warming routine.

[glow=white,2,300]"I appreciate the generosity Hotaru. But you seem to have a strong connection to fire... Which is, to say, not a good thing to have around me. If I could find the amulet, my power will be sealed for the most part, and you should be fine... Just... (Sigh)... Do that "warming up" thing..."[/glow] The ice atronach's glassy orbs, saw a shimmer of purple near Suki's feet. [glow=white,2,300]"It's right there... Could you... Could you put that on my neck? I know it's a hard reach, but it's so small... And my hands are big... Just don't let the bare stone touch you... It will suck out your magica pools like a leech..." [/glow]

Suki and Hotaru
Hotaru glared. "Don't baby me. I'm a big girl. I can make my own choices. If I felt like helping, I would so be over there helping you get your freaky magic back in order."
"Oh, shut up, Hothead. At least your ridiculous irritability is a sign of life." Suki cautiously picked up the cord of the necklace, being very careful not to touch the stone. She really, really didn't like the sound of magicka pools being drained in moments...
She stretched on her tiptoes and was barely able to put the cord over Glacius's neck. Sighing, she moved back a step and waited for some new freaky thing to happen.

The ice atronoch seemed to stop moving for a second... And for a whole minute, he didn't move... Then, a great rumbling shook the huge, icy being as cracks started appearing on it's stony face... Eventually, water trickled out, and chunks of elemental ice started hailing on the newly frosted ground. Eventually, almost like a land side, all the ice atronoch exploded apart, revealing a choking, bald headed priest with torn robes standing on top of the rubble. "(Hack... Cough) Blast it... I have to learn how to breathe all over again... And the warmth... By Akatosh..." After taking a few deep breathes, Glacius fiddled with his purple amulet... It had a slight glow in the stone's depths. It always did that when his deadric powers balanced itself. In fact, the enormous aura that was choking Hotaru was back to it's much weaker and livable strength. After finally composing himself, and taking a few deep breathes, the huge man glanced at Suki and smiled uncomfortably. "Okay then... Over there next to Hotaru would be fine... And I'll answer your questions..."

Hotaru and Suki"Great," Hotaru murmered, "Just when I was sure I wasn't going to die." Suki walked calmly and quietly over to Hotaru. Then, she kicked her. "Hey, what was that for?" "For being a rude idiot." Hotaru glared. "Way to be on my side, sis'." "Because my goal in life is to stick up for you." "Ugh, whatever. I ache everywhere." Hotaru blew another gout of fire into her hand and glared at Glacius. Suki sighed. Glacius had just - admittedly in a slightly roundabout way - saved their lives. The least that Hotaru could do was be polite. The young water mage didn't linger, however. She was more interested on the intense energy she had just recieved from Glacius. What had that been? What was he? Hotaru was not interested in such high questions. Really, she just wanted to go somewhere very, very warm and set a building on fire so she could sit in it. OOC: Wow... Hotaru and Suki were originally in so much harmony with each other... And now they're clashing... Strange how characters evolve like that. I love them, though. They're so crazy and awesome. Ugh. Still need to write Kari's history... Wish I knew what I could do... And I'll try to PM you the website where we can get a decent chatbox. It'll be nice to be able to quickly communicate.

With a small huff, the bald man sat on a rock about waist high. Shreds of brown cloth from the upper part of his robe hung limply around his arms and chest in small strips. Rubbing his huge, pale hands together thoughtfully, he glanced at Suki and Hotaru carefully. "Okay... First off, how much do you know about deadra? You two are magic casters right? If you are Mages Guild, the teachers may have taught you something..."

Hotaru and Suki
Hotaru blinked. "Well, we're former Mages' Guild kids... And when we were being trained, I really wasn't very interested, so I didn't really catch that much..."
"Which means," interrupted Suki, "That she was too busy flirting and talking with her friends to pay attention. But yeah, we don't really know that much about daedra. I admit that I spent almost all of my classes daydreaming. None of that stuff ever seemed really applicable to us..."
Hotaru wrinkled her nose at Suki and stuck her tongue out.
