Suki and Hotaru
Hotaru rolled her eyes. How weird... Suki simply smiled and said, "Then let's get going." She readjusted her pack on her shoulders, elbowed her sister and headed forward, out of Pelagiad.
As they walked along the path to Vivic, Suki suddenly spoke. "Who was is that we reminded you of? I don't hear that very often... We're very different people from the norm."

Glacius chose his words VERY carefully. Anytime anyone brought up his past, he had to do this. "I could tell..." Glacius replied in his gravely voice towards Suki. "It's um... A long story. Most people have trouble understanding it. So I don't want to bother you with it... And I guess it's not so much as you reminding me of someone, as them reminding me of you. Does that make sense?...." Glacius almost smiled in joy when a light grey leathery creature that looked like a cross between a vulture and bat soared ahead over their heads towards the cliffs in the east. It opened it's beak-like mouth and gave a shrill cry as it dissapeared on the horizon. "A cliff racer." The ice atronoch informed. "They can be seen everywhere in Morrowind. Mainly the northern and mountainous regions."

Hotaru and Suki
Hotaru was in a bad mood. She walked along in silence, glaring enviously at everything around them. That's right, rock. Stare at me. You're lucky. You don't have to wander this earth and hang around with creepy guys who feel like ice and make you unhappy. Oh, Mr. Leaf? Care to join the fun? Yes, taunting Hotaru is good fun... Her thoughts rambled, slowly moving from violently blaming the surroundings to thinking happily of her friends back at home and what they'd be doing just then. Probably not walking to who-knows-where with who-knows-who and their crazy twin sister...
Suki cocked her head. "Kind of... I guess so. I don't mind long stories- Oh!" She had been startled by the cliff racer. She gazed up at it with curiosity. When it disappeared, she was unhappy. She widhed it could have stayed. If only she'd been able to see it close up, to study what it looked like, wat noises it made... Things in Morrowind were so fascinating.
"It's beautiful," she said, unthinking. Hotaru snorted and muttered something like, "Yup... As cute as a kitten, that is." Ugh! Why was the fire mage so angry? She returned to silently yelling at the surroundings.

Glacius raised an rigged eyebrow in amusement. He didn't know about "beautiful", but the atronoch did find it interesting... of course, when he was free from his service, Glacius thought everything in Nirn was fascinating... The sea was visible now as the path winded near the coastal cliffs, the green/blue waves crashed near the beaches, and occasionally, massive brown crabs the size of small dogs could be seen picking at the sandy ground below. Massive fungi and mushrooms that size of trees grew over the dirt path the strange travelors walked on. The strange, exotic feel and the cool wind Morrowind brought from the coast on their right made Glacius feel quite comfortable... Comfortable enough to let his guard down.
Nelos Onmar was a simple man. He liked simple things, women, gold, strong flin, and he was quite happy. The Dunmer was quite pleased today as well, especially when his targets were coming down the road in the north right now. They were obviously new, you didn't blurt out your future plans and destination in Morrowind. It got you into situations like this one right now. The handsome bandit wiped his beautiful, gold embroidered black shirt once, walking in place behind one of the massive fungi, clad in his bonemold grieves and boots. The Dunmer's right hand kept hold on his steel longsword as he waited patiently for his prey to get closer for the ambush. The blade glittered with a wicked green aura. Nelos smiled. His trusty viperblade hadn't failed him once... And of course, neither did his cohorts who were hiding behind the bushy foliage on the other side.

Suki and Hotaru
Suki walked her graceful way along the path. Her feet, lightly clad in form-fitting leather slippers, felt not the sharp stones and twigs that others would feel through the leather. The soles of Suki's feet felt very little, calloused as they were, yet were graceful and beatiful in a light, airy way.
She drew deep, even breaths as she walked, face slightly upturned, watching the sun shine through the leaves of the trees above her. Suddenly, a sharp salty scent met her nose. She hopped giddily, intoxicated by the scent and strength of the ocean. The smell brought back memories of their trip to Morrowind, happy memories for Suki, filled with energy and excitement. They had done it. They'd made it to this land of exotic beauty, full of unique quirks and hidden magics. It was amazing.
Even with the ocean's scent and Glacius's icy presence beside her, Hotaru too found herself lightening up. In part, it was due to her sister's happiness. Suki was now gliding down the path, skipping lightly and occasionally turning a cartwheel or falling into a graceful handstand. Hotaru smiled at her sister's antics, even once joining in and walking on her hands beside her twin. The sun's heat warmed and invigorated her, and her sister's joy intoxicated her.
All in all, the little threesome was an easy target when they came upon the bandits.

It happened so fast. Glacius was plowing down the dirt trail on stocky limbs, robe brushing the ground gently, watching in curious amazement as Horaru and Suki practiced their acrobatics in front of him. They were extremely graceful, and the atronoch wasn't exactly the same. Most ice atronochs werent... So that made it all the more awe inspiring was the fact they were excellent acrobats. The deadra smiled, enjoying the heart warming scene, when it quickly, almost instantaneously turned into calculative fear. They were surrounded... It was almost like the bandit gang had been expecting them. Most were Dunmer elves, clad in mismatched, ill kept armor of chitin and bonemold variety. There were two on each side of the road, all armed with a white/pink chitin bow, drawstring taught, ready to let an arrow fly if the slightest movement was made. The atmosphere was instantly tense, and Glacius heard a slight moevement behind him. His light blue eyes shifted to the trail they just walked by, only to see a filthy bearded nord and another dunmer behind them, clad in netch leather, and armed with a dagger. The otherwordly priest quickly turned to the front of the trail when he saw a young dunmer prance out of the shadows of a clump of fungi triumphantly, stopping short in front of the trio. His bonemold grieves and boots that encased his legs were in excellent condition, and the fine black shirt looked expensive. This was obviously the bandit leader of this gang they just got caught by. The dunmer smiled, revealing perfect white teeth, but his red eyes were cool and calculative.
Nelos almost leaped for joy. When the ambush went as planned, he walked out of his hiding place, hand on Viperfang's hilt should the need arise. "Greetings outlanders. Fine day isn't it? Of course it is. In the prescense of such fine imperials, it has to be." Nelos yawned, stretching casually, then faced the group with bored, yet amused red eyes. In truth, he was studying his targets. Two young, imperial women, obviously entertainers. Then there was the huge, muscular priest. Priest or not, Nelos was watching him cautiously. He didn't want to get caught by that guy's arms. But overall, an easy target. This was a good day... "Now, I think we all know what is going on. But you see, a man has to eat somehow. Now don't look mad. It's just a fact of life." The dark elf bandit smirked. "But I'm a fair man. And by fair, since in my position I could have simply jumped you and killed you like those common ruffians behind you, I always give my standups a chance. Simply toss most of your valuables at my feet, and we slowly back off. Noone gets hurt." Nelos grinned. "Either way, I'm not afraid to get blood on this new shirt."

Suki and Hotaru
Poor village burglars were one thing, especially when they had starving families at home. This though, was not that. This was the manipulative and rich preying on the foreigners. Suki was disgusted. The dunmer was clad in expensive, luxious clothing and had fine armor and weapons. The men were ragged and poor. If he was indeed their leader, he wasn't a good one. He obviously got the brunt of the loot.
Hotaru considered meekness and servility, claiming to be farm girls with no valuables, but as she fell gracefully from her handstand into an arch, and finally stood straight, she slowly was catching on to the same things her sister had noticed. This wasn't the time to play nice. Besides, Hotaru was itching for a fight, and here was one. He might be colored like a sooty kitchenmaid and he might have had red eyes, but he was just asking for a fight, and Hotaru was happy to oblidge.
She scanned the men. Well, if their appearances meant anything, they were pretty useless as far as fighters got. Even the poorest of farmers took care of what tools he had. Fighting was no different. No matter how poor you are, your weapons always go first. The men had dirty, rusted weapons and badly-treated armor. All in all, they were a pretty pathetic bunch.
Hotaru nodded almost imperceptibly to Suki. Suki blinked once. As they did so, they each placed a Mark on the spot they were standing on. If worse came to worst during the fighting, they could pull each other out of trouble by sending the other to their Mark.
Hotaru called up flames. She felt them there, under the surface of her skin, filling her with passion and excitement. Out! they screamed, Out, out! Yet Hotaru held them back. No, my dears. You can come out in a moment. For now, stay quiet. We need to surprise them. They liked the sound of that word. Surprise... Surprise... echoed through her and she smiled. She loved fire. It was so... energetic.
Suki felt for water in the air. This close to the sea, there was no lack. She maintained a link with each tiny drop, just in case, but focused mostly on the water in a stoppered pouch at her waist. This was her fighting water. She was ready to use it. Her eyes hardened as she waited. Glacius would have to make the first move. She wanted to be sure that he would fight, not wish to flee.

Glacius himself was disgusted with the mortal elf. Greed had consumed this one's heart.... Normally Glacius could have easily handled this, but Hotaru and Suki were present, and the ice atronoch 1. Didn't want to advertise he was a deadra, and 2., Didn't want two mortals who only had a short life span as it was to get involved, where as Glacius if worse came to worse, would be sent back to Oblivion. Glacius carefully said through gritted teeth. "Dunmer, I am regretful to inform you that neither me no my companions have anything of value. I myself don't have a septim to my name, I am merely a humble priest, and don't carry anything of value..."
Nelos smiled. "Oh really?" The dunmer asked slyly, pointing his enchanted blade from his position in front of the trio at the ice atronoch's neck. "That amulet you have been TRYING to conceal under your robe looks REALLY expensive."
Glacius' light blue eyes widened, as he self-conciosly grasped The Stone of Biding. The amulet could be seen... It must have gotten misplaced from it's tucked position in the neckline of the robe... A beautiful, platinum and silver chain necklace with a strange, glowing purple stone at it's center... from the strange shimmer in which the amulet occasionally flickered, it was obviously enchanted.
The other bandits seemed excited by their find. There would be a huge stockpile of gold for pawning that. Nelos grinned ferally. "Indeed priest, if you just hand that over, there should be more than enough gold that your friends won't have to pay, either through septims or blood either."
Glacius looked uncertain, but then the ice atronoch's eyes went cold... Very cold... "No... This was given to me by a very important person. Noone but me shall have it." The priest spoke the words in such conviction, that a few of the bandits shuffled uncomfortably. They were expecting the priest to just cowardly toss it... Nelos looked slightly dissapointed. "So be it." And with a flick of his left hand, and an eerie whistling sound, four arrows embedded into the priest's neck. Nelos smiled. "Unfortunate... If you just gav..." The dunmer stopped, red eyes wide in absolute shock... The arrows tips were barely in Glacius' neck, their very points just barely pierced the skin... At first, the Dunmer bandit thought that the chitin bows must not have been good quality, but the strength of those arrow's release would have easily gone through BARE flesh... And a neck wound should have been instant death anyway... "What.... What in the world are you?..." The bandit bowman gave eachother nervous glances. Glacius had a look of shock on his face, but then his face grew hard as his massive hands reached up and pulled the arrows out, one by one like they were mere splinters. As he pulled out the arrows, a small, tiny trickle of water leaked from the wounds... Not blood... [glow=white,2,300]"You have one warning left... Stop this before you face the wrath of this Nine Divine follower..."[/glow]

Hotaru and Suki
Hotaru and Suki themselves were astounded. He had four neck wounds... And survived. From close-range bows. How? And that amulet... It's aura repulsed Hotaru, just as it drew Suki in. She felt waves of power rushing from it and drank in the power as if it were her first taste of fresh water.
Still, there were more important things to do than worry about Glacius's apparent impunity to weapons of any kind. They were still surrounded by a group of deperate and angry bandits. How long before their loyalty to their leader was overcome by their fear and confusion? The twins had to be ready for that moment...

The bandits were indeed nervous, constantly looking to Nelos for some kind of guidance. The Dunmer bandit was disgusted with their stupidity... But then he himself didn't know what to do... But the Dunmer's red eyes lit up with cunning joy as his eyes met the twins. "I don't fear your foreign gods you imper-... Whatever you are... Point is... I'm curious if your friends can take a point blank shot like that." Nelos gave a feral grin. "Care to demonstrate?" With a raised hand, the archers pointed their bows at the twins. Nelos grinned. Glacius sneered.[glow=white,2,300]"Mortal coward. Face me yourself."[/glow] The dunmer like he was about to snap. He was made a fool TOO many times today! "FIRE!" Nelos snarled, drawing his blade for combat, it's wicked green glow shining eerily, the acrid, sour stench of enchanted poison wreathing off of it in waves.

Suki and Hotaru
The twins stiffened when the bows were turned on them. Silently, Suki calculated the position of each bow and thought of a complex plan to avoid each shot. It was hard, impressive work, and she was ready when the shots were fired. Just before she put her plan into motion, Hotaru rolled her eyes and whispered, "Duck, stupid." Blushing, Suki did so, rolling forward and down with her sister.
As she got up, flames sprung from Hotaru's hands. She grinned, feeling the electric energy of the fire run through her veins, and turned on the nearest bandit. He was a sorry affair, lanky and ill-kempt, and she could imagine how surprised and frightened he must have been. She grinned, a demonic grin.
"Do you even want to try?" she asked, voice haughty and filled with the strength of raging infernos.
Suki had popped the cork of her water supply and its contents had slid out easily, coming as she called it. It sang as she pulled it through the air. Obviously, quite a few bandits had decided that a little water wasn't so bad compared to the fiery strength of Suki's sister. She'd show them how wrong that assumption was.
The water floated beside her hands. Suddenly, she flicked her arm and wrist and the water shot out like a whip, catching the man in front of her easily and shifting from water to an icy blade the moment it touched flesh. A red weal appeared on the bandit's face, and the water returned to Suki's hand.
OOC: Wait, can I powerplay a few of the bandits like that? I know it isn't fair, but I supposed that you didn't want to RP all the bandits b yourself... xD Gotta' go to bed. G'night! xD

(No, thats fine... They are minorities, it's not accepted with main characters. Good night by the way! ;D)
The first bandit didn't need to be told twice, he dropped the bow and fled quickly when Hotaru came into the scene. The other bandit bowman beside him just snorted in disbelief. He was a dunmer, fire wouldn't scare him. Dropping his bow he unsheathed an iron dagger, and thrusted it towards Hotaru's direction, dull red eyes wild.
The bandit bowman on Suki's side clutched his face in wicked agony... The tall bandit was an altmer... the ice hurt more than normal, in fact, it almost looked like his half of the face was ravaged with a purple discolerment... It was rather nauseating. Nelos gritted his teeth, red eyes wild as he professionally brought his Viperfang in a wicked arc towards Suki's head.
Glacius grew desperate. No... No way was he going to let that Dunmer get to the girl. He was about to rush in when heard a bloodthirsty battle cry behind him. He felt a small prick, and turned around to see a shocked nord, oblivious to why his dagger didn't pierce the atronoch. A huge fist grabbed the nord's arm, and the nordic mortal gave a cry of agony as a wet snap echoed over the battle cries. With his immense strength, the ice atronoch snapped the bandit's arm like a twig. The nord looked fearfully in Glacius' white eyes... They weren't blue anymore... They were white, and they were glowing with cold rage. With his other hand, Glacius made a huge fist, and with a ear shattering crack, sent the nord WHEELING down the road, neck bent at an awkward angle. Just as the blade was about to slice the unsuspecting Suki, Glacius in a split second, called upon the natural energies of his deadric pool of immense magica and water droplets in the air. An ice wall rose from the ground instantly in front of Suki, stopping the blade cold with a metalic clang.
Nelos' red eyes widened. "MAGIC!? Your no priest whoever you are!" The blade had it's own magic though, and was quickly disintigrating through the wall. Suki had to get out of there quick.

Suki and Hotaru
Hotaru grinned at the next man. A tough guy, huh? Well, they'd see about that. She pulled her arm back, sweeping it as if she held a whip. And suddenly she did hold a whip, a whip of fire that snaked its way toward the enemy's legs in a wide arc of flame. The energy of the fire was consuming Hotaru and she knew she'd need to tone it down soon. While some people complained of not ever having enough magic, she worried about becoming too carried away by her own. When she was younger, she'd almost let it happen. Suki said her hair had turned to flames and her clothes had caught fire while she laughed and laughed as if she was having the time of her life. She couldn't let the fire control her. She was in control.
Suki tried to duck the blade, but knew that the movement was too awkward, that in moments she would be sliced into. As she ducked, she felt the water in the air in front of her shift, moving to another's magic and solidifying into an ice wall. Amazed, Suki looked up to see that Glacius had been to one to create the wall. So he was a magic-user as well...
Still, there were more important things to worry about, especially the blade that was creeping its way through the icy wall in front of her. Suki considered evasive maneuvers, but knew that the blade would be faster than her, if only by a little. And that small difference was something she couldn't afford.
"Hotaru!" she yelled. Her sister turned for a moment, saw her sister, and whispered a word. Suki felt herself go fuzzy for a moment, then she was back where Hotaru had been standing a few moments before. She grinned. The Recall spell had worked. She pulled more water from the air around her and added it to her canteen's water it floated in front of her, waiting for instruction.

The dunmer bandit with the dagger yelped in surprise as the fire whip caught his leg and he was thrown to the side like a child does to an unwanted toy. He landed with a hard thud on the grassy ground several yards away, and scrambled on his feet in the opposite direction. Really, it's not worth it... He thought as he sprinted as fast as he could.
Nelos' red eyes had an enraged light to them as the leader of the bandits finally slashed through the ice wall. But it was also one of desperateness. More and more of those ungrateful thugs left him when they sprinkled around a little bit of damned pixie dust! Blasted magic users! It was terrible for moral, when some left, those that would have stayed didn't like the odds and moved away too. The young dunmer's red eyes turned hard and cold... Well then, he would just have to show which one they should fear most... When the high elf, still clutching the side of his face, decided to make a move for it, Nelos cut him down. It was professional, and quick. Lifting Viper Fang behind his back, Nelos quickly sidestepped, and with a small turn, brought the enchanted longsword right down on the altmer. The high elf didn't have time to react, though he tried, but a gush of blood erupted from a wicked slash along the torso and the bandit fell, twitching and gurgling in agony on the ground, a pool of crimson blood seeping into the parched dirt. A green mist was swirling around the cut, and it was rapidly eating away the flesh like a swarm of slaughterfish. With a silent scream, the poor outlaw twitched and died there, some of the poison enchantment still dissolving the area around the vicious attack. Nelos glared at the other bandits that were left, wicked, sadistic smile on his face. "Who do you fear more? THEM!? Or me....." When he pronounced "me", there was a dangerous rasp to it, and the rest of the outlaws, two bowman who drew chitin longswords and a man armed with a dagger, charged the twins in a mad, desperate, rush. Nelos grinned at Glacius. "As for you, I'll gut you myself PRIEST!"
