Night was fading as morning approached, the sun was in the brink of rising. Draken stood outside, looting the Dark Brotherhood assassins. Raven had her compass and checked the map, they where getting closer. 2 hours away atleast. Draken grabbed the potions and the dagger the assassin carried. He smiled at it, reading the markings. “Hmm, they where fully equipped to kill us”. Draken said. Raven glared at him. “They failed..”. Draken smiled and placed the dagger in his pocket. Suddenly Rayne came from the downstairs storage room. She had a black pirate hat and a sailor outfit. Rayne had a bottle of rum in her right hand, she wobbled when she walked, having her left hand ontop of the black hat. “Arr!! Ye best hurry it up o rI will throw ya ashes to the slaughterfish”. She said, teasing around. Draken rushed to her and snatched the hat. “Landfolks, they know nothing of the sea” He teased. Raven rolled her eyes. “Stop your teasing and go find any survivors! Where is that blasted Orc?” Raven shouted angrily, her fangs beared. Rayne twitched a little. “Relax Rave..the orc fellow is probably sleeping in the cargo hold. I smelled him when I went down there, it smelled like dead man”. She said, twirling around with the bottle, acting like a drunkard..acting like a complete fool. Raven clenched her fist and gritted her teeth. “Then he is probably dead!!!” Raven said angrily. “Without any human sailor how in bloody Oblivon are we going to get there? The sun rise and we will have to hide”.
Rayne smiled and winked at Raven. “Well maybe if you wanted to feed earlier we could of got there in peace”. Raven sighed, Rayne was right. Draken nodded. “So what shall we do now?” He asked. Rayne smiled at him. “We can dance for now..” She said, grabbing a dead middle aged sailor and extending his arms, she started dancing with the dead sailor, twirling around and around. “There is life in the dead man yet!”. She teased. Raven growled when the sun began to rise. “Rayne drop it!”. Rayne dropped the man and glared at her. ‘What?” she asked. “Go inside and stay inside, me and my brother need to have a talk..in private!”. Rayne puffed and went down below.
“Drake..we cannot have any time to waste, this ship is fairly large, there has to be a sailor hiding somewhere…find it and bring it up now, we have less than forty-five minutes until the sun rises.” Draken nodded and went to the crew deck, the stairs creaked when he stepped over them. Dead sailors everywhere, the Orc assassin did a hell of a job. Draken heard a short mumbled cry. Coming from underneath the table. He walked to it and looked under it..nothing. But wait, there was a small opening in the wooden floor. Draken lifted it up to find two sailors, hiding. “Get up!” Draken demanded. The two frightened sailors got up, whimpering. “”Everything is alright, the threat has been taken care of. I need your help however. I need to steer the ship to Morrowind, the nearest port. You shall be handsomely rewarded!” Draken said, pulling out a few gold pieces. “It is really no difficulty in doing this for me. We have two hours until we get there and the sun will rise in a few minutes. I will not bite you or feed on you, no..I have other use for you, come” He said. The two sailors looked at each other frightened. Draken frowned. “If you wont cooperate then I don’t think I have any use for you” he said, placing his hand on his Katana. The two sailors nodded and followed him. Both sailors followed reluctantly. They froze when they saw Raven`s ugly face, gaunt, extremely pale and bloodied, something out of a nightmare, she was old and wrinkly. Looked like a young girl who was in an old womans`s body. “I will not introduce myself, no, rather I shall get to the point. You two will take us to Morrowind. When we are close to port you will drop the anchor before you reach the docks. We shall wait until the natives come to greet us. You will create an alibi and lure them to the downstairs deck. Understand?” Raven said, baring her fangs. The sailor shook his head. “I don’t speak to dead women!”
Raven growled and rushed to him, choking his neck, almost breaking it. “You will do as I command or your friend here will face death, slowly, painfully and you will watch every..single..second of it. Do I make myself clear sailor?” She threatened. The sailor shook his head and took the wheel. “Excellent. Do this well and your life will be spared” She said, taking the other sailor hostage. The sun began to rise and Raven and Draken hid under the deck in the shadows. The ship made its way through the sea, going to Morrowind. The sailor did not trust the vampires so he had to make sure his friend was alive and well. Occasionally he asked and his friend responded, atleast these vampires kept their word. The sun rose, what a relief, the stormy weather has passed, but leaving the ship in bad shape, the sails where torn and ripped.
Rayne sat on a crate, swinging her legs while Draken sat in the corner with his head down, Raven was searching the treasure boxes and crates for anything useful. Everything was dark except for the candlelight, the dead sailors where all in the room below, they where thrown overboard and some stashed around, so when the prey comes in then they wont suspect. The sailor stood in the corner, staring at the vampires. He never actually had an encounter with them before, he never wanted to. Rayne smiled at him, that innocent smile, so innocent yet so deadly. “You look appetizing” Rayne teased. This only frightened the sailor even more. “Foul creature” He mumbled.
The Breton sailor stood outside, he could see Hla Oad up ahead. He went to the anchor and dropped it. The large metal anchor slid across the sea floor and stopped the ship. There was a sudden rumble and a violent shake. The group new they had arrived. It would be a matter of time before they can actually leave the room. “We have arrived” Raven said. Rayne jumped from the crate and approached the sailor.
The sailor outside stood on the edge, screaming and waving for help..sending out a false distress signal. On the decks, the Argonian sailor and the Dunmer female saw the man shouting. They went to see what theproblem was, the small boat approached the large ship out into the ocean. They climbed the sides with the ropes and net. “What is the problem sailor?”. The Argonian asked him. The sailor shook a bit, if he told the truth his friend would get killed, he did not even know these people anyways, so it would not matter if they where just a mere snack. “In the bottom deck, I need help carrying my crates to shore”.. he lied. The female raised an eyebrow. “Where is your crew sailor?” She asked. “They are sleeping in the crew`s quarters, I gave em bad luck on the trip so captain said I have to do this alone..I don’t recommend you wakin em up”. The argonian and dunmer laughed, they opened the door to notice the room was a bit dark, the windows boarded up.. The sailor walked back slowly and locked the door behind them. All he heard was shouts and screams of terror. He tried to ignore them for the sake of his friend…his friend!. He paused, remembering the deal that they made for his friends safery..he was among them, being fed on. He pulled out his cutlass and rushed in. The light shun upon the redheaded vampire but it was no use, she did not burn. He raised thrusted his weapon to try and cut her but she dodged it and disarmed him by breaking his wrist. He fell to the ground to see his friend in the corner, alive. He was mistaken. Rayne was still so hungry and thirsty, the dunmer woman was insufficient. She looked over at the frightened sailor, she approached him slowly. Raven fed on the Argonian and bled him dry in an instant. Draken did not have anyone to feed on so he stood in the corner, hidden from sunlight. Raven walked to the injured sailor. “Did I not say he would not be harmed? Still you tried to kill us..you have broken the deal and now we are forced to break it as well”. Raven said with a smooth voice. Her appearance changed dramatically, she now appeared youthful, a young teenage girl. Smooth clean face except for the blood. Her wrinkles gone. The sailor shook his head. “It was a mistake..i thought ye killed em!”. He begged. Raven cracked her neck and picked the man up by the collar. Rayne closed the door, bringing the darkness inside the lower deck once more. Raven pushed the man in the corner to where Draken was. He grabbed the man and quickly bit his neck, hiding back to the shadows. Rayne smiled at the other frightened sailor. “Now its your turn” she said seductively and lunged at him. Raven was very thirsty, these where not enough but it helped. Raven looked at the sun and frowned, she hated the sun, but most jobs had to be done during the day, She walked to the edge to see the small port upahead. She had to swim there. Draken left the room, blood in the corner of his mouth. “Atlast” he said, looking at the town in the distance. Rayne came out from the lower deck, dragging the sailor outside. Raven turned to her. “We need to erase all evidence that we where here”.
Rayne tilted her head slightly. “How do we do that?”
Raven smiled; “All the alcoholic drinks and beverages, pour it upon the ship” she said sinisterly. Draken went to the bottom deck and took his wepons and Rayne`s, Raven got hers and began to grab the barrels of rum, stacking it in the bottom deck, when the fire catches on it will explode, causing a hole in the bottom, making the ship sink in flames.
Rayne shattered the bottles of wine and beer all over the deck, she skipped around and dropped the candle on it. The fire spreaded quickly, slowly burning the ship. Draken grabbed the half alive sailor and pushed him into the room of barrels in the bottom deck. “YOU LIED!..yo..you said we would be handsomely rewarded!” he shouted, Draken scoffed at him. “I am your reward..you don’t find me handsome?” he said, shooting a fireball into the ground, the fire tracing it towards the barrels. Draken locked the door and ran to the main deck. Raven grinned and looked at the water below. "Hehe..time to abandon ship" Raven laughed sarcastically. Rayne looked at her with a puzzled look. "Are you mad? what about our clothes?" She asked. Rayne did not look at her, she got ready to jump. "Ha, afraid to get wet?" she said, diving forward., swimming underwater and away from the ship. “Lets get going”. Draken said, jumping after her. Rayne followed too., diving into the ocean and swimming to shore. The ship`s hull exploded and fire quickly spread over the mast and deck, slowly sinking into the water.
