Vintus smiled a she shook the half nord's hand "Long time no see Garrius. I haven't seen you since the legions..." Garrius grinned too. "Likewise... How is that doing for you?... I thought you left... Or was kicked out..." Vintus frowned thoughtfully. "I was." The legion commander looked embarrased, and he lowered his light blue eyes to the ground. "I'm... Sorry about that." Garrius murmered, "I just thought with the armor..." Vintus raised a hand to silence the issue, smile showing he wasn't offended. "It's all under the water now." the imperial paladin grinned. "I think a paladin is my real calling." The half nord looked pleased. "You always liked and respected the Nine." Vintus then frowned. "And one of my duties is protecting the people... Garrius... What is going on here?" The commander turned his head away, and the dunmer great houseman stepped forward. "You may be able to help us... Vintus was it?" The imperial man nodded. "Thats right. Who are you?" The dunmer man offered a tiny, almost invisible grin. "Fathos Oran. Noble and commander of Great House Hlaluu." The elven face turned serious once again. "Vintus... The threat that has made several people dissapear recently... Is undead."

Vintus looked thoughtful... Expression grim. "Are you sure?" he asked quietly. The dunmer man nodded. "Ghosts, bonewalkers, skeletons... Normally, these beings are only guarding the tombs of our ancestors, but now they are outside their normal grounds in great numbers... We think a necromancer, vampire... Or something darker is causing this... We may have to evacuate Hla Oad..." the dunmer captain frowned. "Can you help us?" Vintus for the longest time was silent. "I'm.... On another important mission right now." The paladin replied with self loathing. "But... I swear on Akatosh, I WILL come back." He promised. "Give me ten days." Garrius nodded, and the paladin walked away, toward Haku and Hamad. Anyone could tell by his expression, something was up. "Hamad... I just talked with them. You may need to evacuate your family out. I know a few people near Fort Moonmouth near Balmora, priests who would be happy to shelter and provide before this... Problem... Is taken care of."

Haku
Hamad nodded, already trying to calculate how much a trip like that would cost him. His boat wa back in his village, left there when he'd thought that this was only a minor problem and his family would be coming back almost immediately. Without his fishing equipment, he had no way to make money and provide for his family. The next few weeks would be rough if he did not take Vintus's advice and head toward those priest. Hamad did not like charity, but his son and wife needed food and shelter and he would stop at nothing t keep them safe.
Hamad, eyes still preoccupied, bowed to Vintus. "Thank you. For travelling with my sister, and for this. I am in your debt."

Vintus shook his head politely and firmly. "No... You have other responsibilities to worry about than this grizzled old imperial. Besides, it's my duty and responsibility to ensure every good life is maintained and those who want to take it away are dealt with accordingly. Namely this problem... I will make sure your family has a safe place to live Hamad. You have enough things to worry about."

Haku
Haku glared at Hamad. "You aren't going to let me help." She rounded on Vintus, furious at the thought of that little girl captured or worse, without anyone to protect her. "Let me do something. I want to help those people."
"Haku, you will do no such thing. You're only sixteen-"
"Seventeen next month!"
"Regardless, you're much too young to be fighting unknown enemies in dark woods. You're barely experienced enough to handle a one-on-one fight with a human opponent-"
"I'm amazing with Snick. You know that! I can do this Hamad! I can help this girl, and those people!" Haku's eyes were blazing. He couldn't keep her from helping. There were innocent people and she could do something for them! She needed to do help them!
Hamad held up a hand, silencing his sister. He turned back to Vintus, eyes still hard from his argument.
"Thank you, Vintus. This is a great service you have done my family. I am sorry about my sister's conduct in front of you. She is still young and feels that nothing is beyond her."
Haku blanched. "I know my limits, Hamad, but this isn't one of them! I make good weapons and I fight well. I can help these people! What if she was your daughter? What if this was my niece? What if this were my own sister? I need to help her!"

Vintus kneeled down slightly, imperial blue eye meeting the dark brown ones of Haku. "Haku... I think your brother's wife, your brother, and your nephew would like it if you went with them... Instead of hurdling into the unknown, with the chance you may never return. The threat here is above you... It's something that my expertise requires, and the guards here are only biding time... They may have to evacuate the village." Vintus frowned, eyes sad. "If you want to protect your family, go with them... Don't let righteous anger cloud all your judgement. If that girl is still there, I will do what I can."

Haku
Haku's gaze was still fiery and strong. "But isn't the entire point of my travelling to gain experience for me to gain experience? And can't I do that by helping? What if I was ever confronted by these... whatever-they-ares? Shouldn't I learn how to defend myself? I'm not saying that I want to do it alone. I just want to be there to help."
Hamad sighed. Every time Haku got these notions into her head, it was hard to get them out. Though she was as dreamy as a butterfly, she was also as stubborn as a mule.

Vintus couldn't help but smile just a tad. This girl reminded Vintus of himself at that age... "Haku... I don't really know you that well. I only met you recently. But those alits we fought... Are NOTHING compared to whats skulking around in that forests. I don't want to see you in there. I don't even think your weapon can hurt them..." He said this with a meaning. Vintus wondered if they got the idea.

Haku
Hamad's eyes darkened. Enemies that couldn't be injured? He couldn't let Haku fight them... She was still just a kid.
Haku glared, but her gaze softened a bit. "But there are guards there only a little older than I am. Why can they fight when I can't?" She sighed, knowing she'd never win this fight. "I'm so useless," she muttered under her breath.

Haku
Haku glared. "Fine. But I'm pretty sure Hamad would be able to take care of danger easily." She grinned. "I made him his dagger, and it's some of my finest work."
Hamad bumped her shoulder. "It practically falls apart every time I use it, you know."
"What?" Haku was shocked. Suddenly, she glared. "Hey! Not fair!"
Her older brother stuck his tongue out. "Life's not fair."

Cyrodiil border, Meedas, rains fall. 3:22 AM
The tasks in Cyrodiil has been finished, work has dried up and enemies have been slain, they are one step closer to achiving they`re plot. Draken, Raven and Rayne plan to gather few of the Undead vampiric clans to their rankings for one final assault on their targeted location, against their own father and the vampiric council of elders. But by doing so it will take weeks, months and perhaps even a year, but patience is a tool that can be carefully used and crafted to become a weapon. Draken and Raven have stole away on a passenger ship, accompanied by Rayne they sail out to Morrowind. However Dark Brotherhood assassins where persuing Raven and Draken for their survival years ago when the second purification quest was carried out by the Black hand against the Crimson Scars.
Draken Vladmir walked impatiently round the ship`s deck. Extremely thirsty and hungry..he has not fed for weeks. This, however was not his fault, it was Raven`s. He glanced over at Raven, who stood perfectly still, waiting for departure, her hair soaking wet. Draken appoached her and stodd beside her. The waters where calm but the weather was bleak and ghastly, dark and stormy. "When do we depart?" He asked. Raven spared a glance at him and kept looking straight. "Everything needs to be in check, after all, it would be rather dissapointing if we sunk midway to our destination, forcing us to swim during borad daylight, then turning to ash and our remains being nibbled on by fish. Me and you both know thats not how we want this to end, we have gone this far, certain death is not an option..its not even a concept". Raven snarled angrily. She always had a bad temper and rarely smiled.
The loyal crewmember came from the bottom deck to upstairs, where Draken and Raven where. "My lady, everything seems to be in order--". He said before Raven cut him off.
"Seems?". She asked with a bit of rougness in her voice.
"Apologies, everything IS in order, the windows have been boarded and the hull is durable and strong, we shall suffer no complications on our way to Morrowind". He said, keeping his head down.
"Excellent". Raven said, looking at Draken. Raven placed her arms behind her back in a civil manner and walked off to the otherside. Draken crossed his arms and sighed. "Work here has dried up. How do you know we can trust them? wont they turn on us if we reveal our identites?" Draken asked.
"Not if they are willing to listen carefully. I will make sure they listen. We have never had any problems with the Aundae clan, when we where stationed there, we never hunted in their territories, we offered them cattle and traded with them. It would be foolish for them to attack us". She said.
The rain was getting more intense by the minute. It was time to leave before any enemies show up. "We need to go, now." Draken said. Raven agreed and walked the the lowest deck in the ship. "We must not feed on the humans at all! we need our strenght for when we arrive." She said, opening a wooden coffin that was placed in the corner of the ship. The sailors do not suspect it carries Undead vampires, to their knowledge it is a coffin of the explorers that where born in Morrowind but died in Cyrodiil, lies have been believed.
"Where is Rayne?" Draken asked. Raven rolled her eyes and stated to stroke her black hair. "Your bride is holding us back, if we leave without her, it is entirely her own fault" Raven said loudly, preparing her coffin for slumber.
Suddenly another female voice was heard, Rayne walked down to the lowest deck where Raven and Draken where, she was also wet because of the rain, her crimson red hair dripping. "Relax Rave..I went to get some snacks for the journey" She said happily, holding a large back that seemed to twitch every now and then. "I thought I made it clear when I said we shall not feed until after we speak to the clans".
Rayne rolled her eyes at Raven. "Yea well a little meal wont hurt, besides, its not human or mer blood..enjoy it"Rayne said, pulling two small rabits from the bag, live rabbits. She tossed one at Draken and one at Raven, while she grabbed two rats by the tail. Rayne opened her mouth and swallowed the rat whole!, she then munched down on the 2nd rat. "I cant wait until we get to Morrowind..after you negotiate with the clans than I can finally feed on some real food! I have not feed for nineteen days, Raven! you owe me much". She said, still chewing at the squirming rat. Raven held the rabbit by the ears with one hand and then made a gesture with the other. "I do not owe you anything, I am helping you, with this much strenght we can overpower almost anyone if they plan to betray us".
"It does not matter, I am just so thirsty, I can feed on an entire continent of Nirn!". Rayne mumbled. Draken smiled and wrapped his arm around her back, placing his arm on her shoulder. "The Aundae clan is most acceptable to get the task done, I think we can rely on them". Draken said.
Rayne frowned and shook her head. " I disagree, The Berne clan would be the best selection. These vampires are the true masters of the night. Sliding through the darkness, invisible in the shadows, they hunt their prey in secrecy and silence. Stealth is always best". Rayne said with much certainty. " Raven took a bite out of the rabbit and grinned. "I personnaly choose the Quarra, ruthless, fearless and powerful. Do hold notice that we are not going there for personnal choices. If we can get all of them together, atleast some, we shall have a great chance of winning"."Raven added.
Rayne sat down and tied the bag with the living creatures inside. "How? they hate each other!" she asked.
Draken smiled and took a peel outside, before heading back downstairs. "Gold, power, wealth. They all want it, we can give it to them. After we secure our rightful place in the throne and after we overthrow the Elders and the ancient council, we will destroy all loose ends". He said, with a wide smile across his face.
The sailors began to show up, they can hear the steps of them getting closer and closer. Raven ran to the corner and hid inside the coffin. Draken blew out the candles and went inside his wooden coffin, next beside Rayne`s.
Vintus Herellious walked down to the bottom deck, everything was in order, except for a few things. The windows where boarded up and the candle was smoking, signifying there was still someone there. The ground on which he stood on was wet. "Groven!"called out Vintus.
Groven-gro-shalob came from the upstairs and stomped down to the captain, he had on overalls and dirty pants full of mud, his left hand held a beer mug. 'What is it captain?"
"Why in blazes are the windows boarded up?" He asked. Groven shook his head rapidly, he was the one who boarded up the windows and help a few stowaways..vampire stowaways. He did not care, they meant him no harm, or so he thought.
"Äye, i shut the windows cause water be coming in, getting all the crates wet and all thee food moist!" He lied. Vintus growled and mumbled and left the room. "ALLRIGHT YA SLIMY BILGE RATS! GET TO WORK! HURRY UP YA SCALYWAGS! YA DONT GET PAID FOR STANDIN THERE!"He spat, litteraly.
The sailors raised the anchor and began to sail away towards Morrowind, they where behind schedule, sailing in these storms was going to be rough. The lightning was shouting and the thunder was roaring loudly, the sky was crying huge drops of rain. Vintus stood in the Captains quartes, eating a sweetroll and drinking rum while reading his map. The crew shouted and worked on the sails, trying to get the ship on the right course to Morrowind. Raven opened the coffin silently and walked off to the crates. She grabbed her twin Scimitars and held them in her back. Something was not right..this was too easy. Raven used her power, the Embrace of Shadows, to sneak past the sailors, and into the captains cabin. ------ Shareeva the Khajiit and Swims-in-blood, and Greynods the ungrateful snuck on the side of the ship when it began to sail, their target was inside, orderded by the Black Hand, they where ordered to leave no survivors. The Argonian female climbed the front of the ship, to find her targets, while Shareeva took care of the sailors. Shareeva killed the unarmed sailors while some of them dinned, jumping down from the deck, she sliced them with her sword, each of them. They where too drunk to even notice a Dark Brotherhood assassin..even when she had on her weapons. She picked up a dagger and sliced one across the throat, the otherone was pushed out of the ship and into the sea. The storms would take care of him.
The Black Hand offered nine hundred Septims to Shareeva and Swims-In -blood, plus Greynods to silence Raven and Draken, along with their companion. A good price for a fun mission.
Raven hid next to the cabinet, still invisible, the captain had the complete map to Morrowind, and she needed it. She proceed to the next room, she saw Vintus sleeping, with rum all over his shirt. Raven was tempted more than ever to feed on him..to bite his soft neck. Her mouth was watering so much..she could not resist but she had to force herself..discipline!. Suddenly, she smelled someone else, up ahead near the window. Raven used her Hunter`s sight to glimpse someone in the outside, she could see their heartbeating steadily, their redish, blue glow behind the wall. An Argonian female. Raven slipped past the sleeping captain and stood opposite of the Argonian, a wooden wall gapped Raven from the Argonian assassin outside. Raven grabbed her Scimitar and aimed it, she still could see the Argonian on the otherside, sneaking across the wet walkway. Raven plunged her scimitar through the wood, through air and through flesh, hitting the Argonian right in the head. Success!!. Raven finnaly smiled when she heard the thud outside. But the sudden noise awoke the captain. Vintus got up, screaming loudly in panic. "HUh!? What!?" he asked loudly until he saw Raven. He froze..it looked like a nightmare, she wore a black dark gown, she was paler than snow, her face was wrinkled and dry, gaunt and her eyes where blood red. He immedietly knew what it was. He pulled out his shortsword and pointed at her. Äye WITCH! I dont want any problems"He blarted. Raven grinned, slowly showing her fangs extend, she approached him closer and closer. -----
Greynods walked downstairs to find the sleeping vampires. He had on an arrogant smile, he walked heavily with his sharp silver axe! a good contract and a goodpay, boy did he love the Dark Brotherhood. He saw a single coffin in the corner, he was sure that was the one. Greynolds raised his Axe and brought it down with great force upon the coffin. Breaking it in half. A large crack was sounded throughout the room. He smiled and growled, but his smile and sudden "victory"was shortlived as he noticed the coffin was empty, the vampire inside was already gone. Draken heard the sound from inside of his coffin. He was not sleeping..he did not want to, vampires rarely ever slept at night. Draken pushed the coffin cover away from him, it flew to the roof of the bottom deck and flicked off to the side. He grabbed his katana, startled at the large noise. He stood up to see alarge, brute orc with an axe, he had a black robe and hood. No doubt he was another one of them assassins working for the Dark Brotherhood.
Draken gave a low growl and a sinister stare. Greynolds smiled and clenched his axe harder. "Haha did I wake you from your beauty sleepi?" He teased. Draken said nothing but kept still, with his katana pointing at the Orc. Draken had enough of these assassins, always he had to hide and kill them silently but now he was going offensive. Draken charged at the orc, doing a sudden jump in the air and bringing down his sword upon the Orc`s axe. A sudden clank met with sparks as the blades collided. Rayne stodd from her coffin due to the loud chatter of the arrogant Orc. Her red hair still soaking wet and her mouth wet with blood from the rat she ate earlier. She gasoed and saw Draken battling a armed Orc. She growled and stood up, Draken saw her and then slashed again at the Orc, but the orc dodged to the side. "Rayne, go find Raven!" He shouted. ï`ll handle this" He whispered. Rayne felt conflicted in leaving her lover behind, but they have no fed for days..weeks..she trusted him and his strenght. Rayne ran upstairs to the deck to find all the sailors dead..in their own pool of blood while the rain started to wash it away. Rayne looked around, she could not see the land anymore, the storm was now covering the area, they where at sea already. The thunder clapped and the lightning struck, blue light illuminated the area. Right then, Rayne saw another shadow behind her, a tail wagging back and forth. Rayne turned around to see a Khajiit in the process of attacking her, a failed assassination attept. Rayne had no weapons, because she was trained in many arts of combat, mainly hand to hand, she was able to disarm an opponent and take their weapons. But the Khajiit assassin had a large dagger, the tip of it covered sharp as a needle. The cat was all wet and dripping, its fur was brownish white, drops of water slid down its whiskers. "You are a bold one"called out Rayne to the Khajiit. "Sithis shall swallow you into the void! where he shall laugh and bask in your screams of terror!. The Nightmother has given me strenght.
Rayne frowned and went into a defensive stance, "Your bravery is wasted!" Rayne growled, she learned hand to hand and martial arts when she was eight years of age..this was three centuries ago. The feline attacked, leaping in the air and swinging the enchanted dagger. Rayne jumped to the side, dodging it. The Khajjit jumped at Rayne, kicking her in the chest twice with her leg paws. Rayne was caught off balance and fell back. The Khajjit jumped forward and stabbed Rayne in the shoulder with her blade..how was this Khajjit so agile? there was no doubt she had a potion of strenght and endurance with her.
Rayne got angry and kicked the Khajjit female in the face before getting up again to face her. Rayne punched the Khajiit female in the stomach twice before pushing her away at the pole that held the mast. The khajiit female hissed a meow and collided with the pole, giving it a cracked base. Rayne approached again, doing a flip in the air, water flickering off her red hair and tattered clothes. Rayne did a spin in the air and then scratched the Khajiit in the face. Shareeva growled and shot a lightning spell at the vampire female. The female vampire got hit in the chest before falling to the floor and sliding to the side. She still managed to get up but was stumbling a bit. Shareeva had enough of playing games, she was going to kill her!. Shareeva pulled out her Daedric claymore from her back and gripped it with two hands, she charged at Rayne, who took a defensive stance. Shareeva thrusted her sword at Rayne angrily, trying to pierce her heart. Rayne jumped to the pole and stood on it. "She gripped on the edges and then swung on it like an acrobatic before kicking the Khajiit back again with her both feet. The plan was anger her as mush as she could. Then she would get so blinded and angered, a defense in her opening could be exploited. Shareeva held her ground on the wet slippery floors with her cat claws. She stomped towards Rayne again, panting angrily, spitting blood and water. Rayne sent out a sarcastic giggle and raised her hands, one forward and the other one below the waist. A special fighting technique. Siddenly glass shattered and a screaming voice flew from inside the captains quarters to the outisde. Vintus screamed when he was shoved out of the captains quarters and onto the deck of the ship. Raven jumped from the window and to him. She grabbed him by the collar and choked him, looking straight into his eyes. She growled at him, she was disgusted, she threw him out of the ship and sent him crashing onto the waves below. Shareeva was caught offguard by the captain being thrown out, she left an opening in her defense. Rayne took the advantge and exploited it. She performed a beautful butterfly twist. Shareeva turned to the redheaded vampire just in time to see her do a flip, she gasped and was quickly kicked down to the ground. Her jaw cracked when the vampire kicked her in the face. Shareeva dropped her claymore and grabbed her jaw, it hurts badly, she could not believe it..this contract was harder than she thought. Raven stood there and glared at Rayne, she did not bother to help, she wanted to see how her brother`s lover handled things. Rayne grabbed the claymor, she twisted her body around in a 180 degree angle and thrusted it forward using both of her palms. The Daedric claymore sunk through Shareeva`s chest. She gasped in pain, Rayne smiled lightly and pushed the sword in even more. Until Shareeva herself was pushed off of the boat and into the ocean. Raven smiled and clapped sarcastically. Rayne blinked twice at Raven and smiled back.
The Orc swung his axe again at Draken, who blocked it again. The Orc did not seem like the brightest and he certainly did not learn ancient techiniques and fighting skills. He used his brute force rather than his mind. Draken did a roundhouse kick at Greynods, but he grabbed Draken`s leg and swung it at the crates. It shattered and Draken grunted, coughing out the dust and blood. Draken charged quicker than before, this time using his strenght and anger. He held his katana in the start of the handle, he thrusted it forward, but then turned his katana around towards himself, hitting the Orc in the face with the handle of the blade. The Orc was pushed back a little and Draken swung his katana horizontatly, towards Greynods neck. The katana made its way towards its mark, by the time the Orc tried to block it, it was too late. Draken sliced through the Orc in the neck and then swung at his shoulders, killing him instantly. The Orc fell to his knees and then to his face, his axe fell right beside him. Draken sheathed his katana and went outside. He saw Raven and Rayne talking. Up in the balcony was a dead Argonian, looks like Raven too kcare of that one. He approached them to get any information on what happened. Raven looked at her brother and nodded. "Dark Brotherhood, according to Rayne, there where threë. I silenced the Argonian and the captain is dead, Rayne here took care of the kitty, your alive and well, I am certain you killed the Orc".
"Precisely" Draken said lowly. "Rave, why did you kill the captain? How can we get to morrowind?" Rayne asked. Raven pulled out the map from her pocket and went under then wooden balcony, where the rain cant get the map wet. "We are a hours away, I do not know when we will arrive, I needed the map and we cannot aford the captain running his mouth". Said Raven. "We need to get back inside before day strikes." Rayne said.
Raven nodded and tucked away the map, she went to the wheel and turned it towards the right direction. It went offcourse due to the dead crew members. "I will commandeer the vessel, you two plan out what we shall do when we arrive. And please, if you two plan something fun to do, keep it quiet". Raven teased. Draken smiled and went to the captains quarters, while Rayne went downstairs to get the rabbits and rats from the sack, so she can eat.
