It was dark out in Balmora. The stars outside were glowing in the skies of Morrowind, and the twin moons were full. Balmora's activity had been reserved to the pubs and the homes of the citizens, rather than the streets as it did during the day. In one of the streets, right next to the residence of the Fighter's Guild, was the Mages Guild. Inside the Mages Guild, was Vistha. With his recent good attitude, his guild mates reluctantly allowed him to come back. The source? Vistha found what he was looking for in that blasted ruins. On his desk, were numerous tomes and books, looking quite old, but were craftily preserved with magic. The red argonian, clad in a black silk robe, carefully studied every shimmering page. The book was written in dwemer runes, which of course wasn't translated yet, but it also seemed to have translated pages, written in ashlander dialect. Although the ashlanders had no written words, their language could be translated into old elven. Once that was figured out, Vistha would have a chance to fulfill his real quest, discover how the dwarves disappeared. The young argonian gave a huge yawn, showing of rows of white teeth, and stared outside his window. It was getting very late, and Vistha hadn't eaten or slept in hours, too excited by his findings to even rest. Now the fatigue was getting to him. It was time to hit his temporary room at the Corner Club. After leaving his temporary quarters, Vistha went to the door next to his, and rasped into the door, "I'm tired Ralsa. I'm going home and rest for the night. We can finish the rest of the translating tommorow." There was no reply, but Vistha knew he was heard, so the young argonian headed out the door through the alleyways to get to the Corner Club across town. Vistha was thoughtful as he remembered how he got the books in the first place. That Na'lia... Perhaps he should look her up when he got the chance. Everyone in the Mages Guild complained how he should get a break once in a while... And Vistha couldn't shake off the fascination of the strange adventurer. In his thoughts however, Vistha didn't see the figure behind him lurking with a drawn sword, gleaming in the moonlight as it moved silently in the alleyways behind him...
