Name-Jackson Meralbi
Race- Breton/imperial
Birth Sign- The Lady
Age-20
Class-Merchant/Caravan Runner/Agent
Faction- The East Empire Company
Appearance- Jackson Meralbi is a pretty average guy. Although not bad looking, he is not exactly handsome either. He stands about 5-9, and has a tanned skin tone, sharp blue eyes, and messy brown hair. He is lean and lanky, muscled up from traveling, but rather awkward looking with his boyish smile and mirth in his eyes. He typically wears average garb when traveling, not wishing it to get dirty, but in public, is never seen without a nice pair of pants and upper middle class shirt. He wears a small gold ring that was passed down from his family for generations, and when traveling, he carries a basic steel shortsword to defend himself against bandits and aggressive wildlife... Though he is more likely to pay people to do that for him.
Personality- Jackson Meralbi, despite his ordinary appearance, has a very colorful personality. Extremely outgoing, sociable, and likable, there are few people who actively dislike him, though liking him is another story... He has an extremely sharp wit and love of coin that makes him so good at his job... It isn't even the money itself that excites him, it's the business. Jackson Meralbi simply enjoys what he does immensely... The people... The sites... The danger... Unlike most paper pushers, Jackson Meralbi is more likely to head caravan runs sometimes carrying extremely valuable goods... And bandits, ashlanders, and wild animals are always a threat. He doesn't care much for the soft, easy life of most higher ups in his business... The lavish house he owns in Balmora along with his wardrobe are more like requirements he thinks he needs to stay where he is at rather than something he actively seeks. He does in fact, donate some of his wealth, all of which he amassed himself through skill and hard work. That doesn't mean Jackson isn't good at paperwork... He just prefers other aspects of the job.
Jackson is extremely intelligent... Throughout his line of work, he has learned several langauges... The old dunmer tongue, old elf, and imperialic. He is able to discern the value of an object very accurately, and is probably able to sell that object at a higher cost, or buy it for lower. He knows, in his head, how to convert different currency, a thing he learned from his mother. Jackson is also good at reading people and their intentions... Something all business men learn.
History- Jackson was born in Cyrodil, but his parents moved to Morrowind because of his father's business when he was about a year old. His mother was a nursemaid and his father was a high ranking member of the Census and Excise Office. They moved to Seyda Neen, and Jackson spent most of his young life there, before traveling to Ebonheart ate age 15 for some work. He ended up joining the East Empire Company as a clerk, before rising in status and rank after his charismatic and intelligent attitude was noticed. He had a few close calls on his caravan runs, but always managed to live somehow, and it never seemed to shake him. He is currently looking for some hired hands to help him on a particularly ambitious project.
