Name- Varis Nerano
Race- Dunmer
Class-Ordinator
Age-18-19(Exact date is unknown, he considers his birthday the day he was sent to the temple.)
Faction-Tribunal Temple
Appearance- Underneath the indoril armor, Varis is a young, handsome dark elf with ash colored skin. He has hawk-like red eyes that always seem to have an intense, thoughtful gaze. His hair is a spiky gray/black with streaks of white running down their length. His face, like most male Dunmer, is gaunt-looking, but in a sharply toned kind of way, and not at all that unnatural looking. A small white scar runs down the left side of his face near his cheek. He is very athletically built, having well toned legs and arms.
Personality- Like all dark elves, Varis tends to be dark and aloof. On the other hand, he isn't as extreme as most of his elven brethren in this respect. He is extremely thoughtful, and keeps to himself most times. Highly religious, he honors the Tribunal and all their works. Surprisingly, he is amazingly tolerant of other races and their beliefs. This may be due to his "inexperience", and "incredibly young age", on the proper way to live as a "true born and raised Dunmer." Varis honestly doesn't really care about racial superiority. He finds that it gets in the way of his work, and just rolls his red eyes as dunmer rant about outlanders and their spreading influence in Morrowind. A bit of a philosopher, Varis reads a lot, even books from other provinces, something that the other ordinators find dangerous. Although he is amazingly tolerant and even fair to other races, that doesn't stop the young Dunmer from being a Dunmer. He believes fervently that the Tribunal and Dunmer people are a great race, and Morrowind a great country.
History- Varis was the illegitimate son of the famous Serano Nerano, the result of an affair with one of his servants. Serano knew his reputation would be ruined with both his wife and the public as councilor of House Indoril. So on the day of his birth, Serano sent the baby to Vivic and handed Varis over to the tribunal temple, as a favor and service he owed them long ago. Varis was unusually intelligent in his studies of the temple as he grew up, and they considered making him a priest, but that all changed when got in a fight with a senior trainee. Noone but Varis knows what really happened, but apparently a dagger was drawn against the young Dunmer, and Varis managed to subdue him with only his fists. It was decided he would make an even better warrior for the temple, rather than just a priest. During the course of his combat training, Varis's teachers were simply awed by the young Dunmer's level of skill and ambitiousness. Rather than the age of twenties or thirties, Varis got in the order at age 16. He was a fast learner, and within his service of three years, he has served with pride and honor. It is a shame though... With his unusual tolerance of outlanders and their beliefs, Varis is usually assigned to patrolling the Foreign Quarter or missions outside of Vivic. Many of the senior Ordinators and priests don't trust him.
