Name-Rasheer
Race-Khajiit
Age-22
Class-Assassin
Faction-Moraq Tong, Twin Lamps
Appearance- Rasheer is a lithe, lean muscled khajiit of about 5-8. He has short, sooty gray fur, green eyes, and black stripes going down his back to the end of his tail. If his cuirass is off, one can see the lashing marks along his back. He usually wears a black dyed netch leather cuirass with chitin pauldrons on his shoulders and a matching pair of chitin grieves encasing his legs. He has dark grey leather wrappings along his arms, but also wears a strange, thick leather gauntlet on his right arm that ends at his elbow. This gauntlet is actually a weapon in disguise, and when manipulating the bronze circlet at his elbow, a wickedly sharp steel blade pops out of a slot on the top, and is about a foot and a half in length. He also has a small leather pack attached to his waist, filled with multiple types of throwing weapons for long range executions.
Personality-Very quiet. Of course, if you were an assassin, you wouldn't feel like talking to other people much either, and I'm quite sure they wouldn't feel like talking to you. Rasheer keeps to himself, and doesn't talk much about his past, or for that matter, what he does. Yet he is reflective, even philosophical, always watching the birds, the sky, the sea, virtually anything. He is respectful and very disciplined, a result of his Moraq Tong teachings. Yet he is also curious, even somewhat innocent and naive when off the job. Then again, when really annoyed, he can be cruelly sarcastic.... Like I said before, he keeps to himself, and rarely talks to other people, making it hard to get to know him at all.... And then there is the fact of actually WANTING to...
History- Rasheer was just a baby when he was dragged out of Elsweyr along with his 16 year old mother to Morrowind from the slave raids. He never knew his father. They were bought from Telvanni nobles in Tel Aruhn when Rasheer was three years old, and his mother was employed in the servant and kitchen work as a slave. Rasheer, while on the small, private plantation, learned to fend for himself, especially when his mother got addicted to skooma or moon sugar. The Telvanni masters were cruel. Their Dunmer son constantly beat Rasheer when they were "playmates"(It was here he was forced to learn how to be stealthy as an assassin), and when he was older, he was lashed constantly by the whip(Where he learned tolerance against intense pain). The young khajiit, never knowing what freedom was, was still rebellious and even thought he didn't consciously know it, was instinctively trying to find freedom. The only thing holding the cunning khajiit back at age 9, was that he simply didn't know how to read or write. Not many slaves could. When the Telvanni mages' son began his studies, Rasheer would eavesdrop, sneaking past the guards, and over time, self-taught himself to read and write in the dirt outside the plantation owner's house. This was a great moment of triumph for the khajiit, and even started teaching his friends and some of the older slaves. This short time of happiness was over one particular night. Rasheer was with his mother inside the Telvanni Mages' house one night, cleaning up when the plantation owner came in viciously drunk. Drunk enough to try and rape Rasheer's mother, and when she resisted, the mage incinerated her right before Rasheer's eyes... It was then the young khajiit learned what it meant to be property. You had no rights to life. Angered with cold revenge, and slinking out of his hiding place, Rasheer at age 14 planned, organized, and executed a successful slave uprising a year later after the incident. When authorities finally came, imperial ones, they found the plantation sacked of all of it's goods, no slaves, no plantation guards, and the Telvanni Dunmer family all killed, throats slit. The only one left behind was Rasheer, and the imperial guard arrested him. As it turned out, the Telvanni plantation owners were wanted criminals, for several accounts of bribery, murder, illegal slave raids, and drug distribution. They also had close connections with Commona Tong later investigations showed. So Rasheer instead of being executed, was put under adoption, since he wasn't supposed to legally be a slave in the first place. It would be almost impossible to find foster parents though, given his standing. It was the elderly Dunmer, Eno Hlaluu, grandmaster of the Moraq Tong who took an interest in Rasheer, and brought him under his arm.
The Moraq Tong were a massive impact in Rasheer's life. He learned to love his guild brothers and sisters like a close-knit family. His natural abilities made his training as an assassin fruitful. He was deadly with a blade and marksman based weapons, later favoring throwing implements for their concealment. He studied a lot too, as Eno almost loved Rasheer like a son almost, and gave him the best education he could. It was through this Rasheer learned the secrets of alchemy(poisons) and the arcane arts of illusion. With these skills, Rasheer became an experienced and honorable member of the Moraq Tong.
